The PCBC Monday Night Open-Mic is a weekly performance showcase featuring music and poetry. Mondays at the Bean are an opportunity for performers to mingle with one another while showcasing their skills to an energetic audience.

All Musicians, Poets and Enthusiasts are welcome!

This is a safe and supportive environment. This is not a competition.

This is an intimate and enthusiastic listening room. Some participants have extensive experience performing in front of an audience, while for others this may be the first public place they’ve ever performed.

Important Info

  • All ages, All levels, All styles are welcome.
  • Sign up is on a first come, first served basis.

The Way it works

    The Host runs "The Show" by List:



    Open Mic List
    Performers sign their names on the list and the performance follows that order
    2-3 Songs/Poems EACH (Performers may only sign up once per week)
    13 Guaranteed Time Slots Each Week / Divided into 2 Sets

If you’re coming from far away you can call ahead to get your name on the list. Telephone sign-ins will only be accepted during the 30 minutes leading up to show time.

A limit of 3 telephone slots will be accepted per week.

MONDAY SHOW TIMES

    Sign up Begins @ 7pm
    Show Runs 7:30 - 10pm

Technology We Supply:



    3 MICROPHONES (2 vocal, 1 instrument)
    1  2 channel D.I. Box
    1 Instrument Cable
    6 Channel Yamaha P.A. (4 XLR Inputs + 2 ¼” Cable Inputs)

Performer is encouraged to bring their own instrument and all other needs.

We do have a house acoustic that is available (most nights).

We enjoy small group performances, and will try to accommodate to the best of our ability.

Please note, this is a quick paced open-mic showcase, please keep set up simple, excessive set up times may deduct from your performance time.
